HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2904 - 8/20/2002 - ZONING VARIATIONORDINANCE NO. 2904 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3-7:D.1 AND 7-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO SIDE YARD SETBACK REQUIREMENTS TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITION WHICH WILL CONNECT TWO (2) EXISTING BUILDINGS LOCATED AT 1111 CHASE AVENUE AND 1201 CHASE AVENUE (ALL TILE. INC.) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Sections 3-7:d.1 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit an addition which will connect buildings located at 1111 Chase Avenue and 1201 Chase Avenue by permitting construction in the required side yards respectively; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DUPage, Illinois as follows: Section -1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3-7:D.1 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to structures in the required side yard to permit an addition which would connect two (2) existing buildings located at 1111 Chase Avenue and 1201 Chase Avenue. 1 Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
