HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2909 - 10/8/2002 - ZONING VARIATION/627 MEADOW CT.ORDINANCE NO. 2909 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-7:D.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FENCE WITHIN THE REQUIRED FRONT YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 627 MEADOW COURT, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (SZPONER/WOJCIK) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-7:D.3 of the Zoning Ordinance which prohibits fences from being located within a required front yard area; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the findings and recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of the variation requested. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-7:D.3 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a fence within the required front yard and which will extend beyond the nearest front corner of the principle building located on an adjacent single family residential lot, on property located at 627 Meadow Court, Elk Grove Village. 1 Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
