HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2915 - 11/19/2002 - ZONING VARIATION/1560 IDAHO PLORDINANCE NO. 2915 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-7D.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A ROOM ADDITION THAT WOULD ENCROACH APPROXIMATELY NINE (9) FEET INTO THE REQUIRED TWENTY (20) FOOT REAR YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1560 IDAHO PLACE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (TORTORICI) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-7D.1 and Section 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to the location of principle structures in a required twenty (20) foot rear yard area in order to permit the construction of a room addition that would encroach approximately nine (9) feet into said rear yard area; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the finding and recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3-7D.1 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a room addition which would encroach approximately nine (9) feet into the required twenty (20) foot yard on property located at 1560 Idaho Place, Elk Grove Village and identified by property identification number 07-25-306-001-0000. Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 PASSED this 19th day of November 2002.
