HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2845 - 8/14/2001 - ZONING VARIATION/1085 CERNAN CTORDINANCE NO. 2845 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-5:B OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT TWO (2) ACCESSORY STRUCTURES TO BE LOCATED ON A RESIDENTIAL LOT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1085 CERNAN COURT, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (PAULMAN) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-5:B of the zoning ordinance to permit more than one (1) accessory structure on a residential lot located at 1085 Cernan Court, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees, while acknowledging the vote of the Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3- 5:B of the zoning ordinance pertaining to accessory structures on a residential lot, to permit two (2) detached accessory structures, a detached garage and an existing storage shed to be located in the rear yard on property located at 1085 Cernan Court, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 5038 in Elk Grove Village Section 17, being a Subdivision in Sections 25 and 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, according to the Plat Thereof recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds on November 14, 1969 as Document No. 21013168, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
