HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2848 - 8/14/2001 - LIQUOR LICENSES DECREASE CLASS DORDINANCE NO. 2848 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-3-7 NUMBER OF LICENSES OF CHAPTER 3 LIQUOR CONTROL OF THE VILLAGE CODE TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF CLASS D LICENSES FROM SIX (6) TO FIVE (5) WHEREAS, the Liquor Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, revoked the Class D Liquor License of one (1) of the current Class D Liquor License holders; and WHEREAS, as a result of said revocation, it is necessary to amend Section 3-3-7 Number of Licenses thereby reducing the number of existing Class D Liquor Licenses to five (5). NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows: Section 1: That Section 3-3-7 Number of Licenses be and the same is hereby amended by reducing the number of Class D licenses from six (6) to five (5). Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 PASSED this 14th day of August 2001.
