HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2858 - 10/9/2001 - ZONING VARIATION/1399 HODLMAIR LNORDINANCE NO. 2858 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D.6 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A STORAGE SHED TO BE LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET FROM THE FRONT LOT LINE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1399 HODLMAIR LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (FLYNN) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-6:D.6 of the Zoning Ordinance which prohibits storage sheds to be located within sixty (60) feet of the front lot line to permit the construction of a storage shed which would be located approximately fifty (50) feet from the front lot line on property located at 1399 Hodlmair Lane and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-6:D.6 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a storage shed which would be located approximately fifty (50) feet from the front lot line on property located at 1399 Hodlmair Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 20 in Block 9 in Elk Grove Village Section 20, being a Subdivision in Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to Plat Thereof recorded in the Recorder's Office of Cook County, Illinois on August 24, 1973 as Document No. 22452761, in Cook County, Illinois 1 Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
