AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6-5-2 DEFINITIONS OF CHAPTER 5
ANIMALS AND ANIMAL CONTROL OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-5-2 Definitions of Chapter 5
Animals and Animal Control be amended by adding thereto the
following definitions:
LIVESTOCK: Any species of horse, mule, donkey,
cattle/cow, swine/pig, sheep or goat.
POULTRY: Any species of chicken/rooster, goose,
turkey, or duck.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1
