HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2861 - 10/30/2001 - ZONING VARIATION/43 FOREST LNORDINANCE NO. 2861 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D.4 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE EXISTENCE OF A SWIMMING POOL WHICH ENCROACHES APPROXIMATELY 1 ;� FEET FROM THE REAR LOT LINE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 43 FOREST LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (GALE) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-6:D.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the existence of a swimming pool which is located approximately 6.5 feet from the rear lot line on property located at 43 Forest Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3- 6:D.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the existence of a swimming pool located 6.5 feet from the rear lot line on property located at 43 Forest Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 70 and the Southwesterly 7.50 feet of Lot 71 in Elk Grove Village Section 1 North, being a Subdivision in the Southeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof Registered in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois, on January 21, 1957 as Document No. 16806228, Torrens Document No. 1718827, In Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 PASSED this 30thday of October 2001.
