A ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1-4-4-2 B. PERTAINING TO PENALTY
AMOUNTS FOR CITATIONS ISSUED BY THE OFFICE OF HEALTH SERVICES AND
SECTION 3-1-15 REINSPECTION SERVICE FEES BY INCREASING THE AMOUNT
CHARGED FOR THREE OR MORE REINSPECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 1-4-4-2 B. Settlement of the
Village Code, which Section pertains to fines for health and
related offenses, be and the same is hereby amended by changing
the due -date penalty for the listed violations from $25.00 to
$50.00 and by changing the final notice date penalty from $50.00
to $75.00.
Section 2: That Section 3-1-15 Inspections of Specific
Businesses/Re-inspection Service Fee be amended by deleting the
following sentence:
"Thereafter, the Permitee/Licensee will be assessed in non-
compliance service fee of $50.00 for each subsequent
re -inspection during any such inspection."
And substitute therefore the following which shall be inserted in
the same location:
"If a second re -inspection is required, the Permitee/
Licensee will be assessed a non-compliance service
fee of $50.00 for said second re -inspection. Thereafter,
the Permitee/Licensee will be assessed a non-compliance
fee of $100.00 for each subsequent re -inspection."
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to
publish this ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
