HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2879 - 4/9/2002 - ZONING VARIATION/110-160 BIESTERFIELDORDINANCE NO. 2879 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 4-3-1:B OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES TO PERMIT A REDUCTION OF SEVENTEEN (17) PARKING SPACES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 110-160 BIESTERFIELD ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 4-3-1:B of the Zoning Ordinance to permit 367 parking spaces in lieu of the 384 required parking spaces for property located at 110-160 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, including an allowance for the mix of proposed and current uses of the entire shopping complex, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 4- 3-3:B of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to the minimum number of parking spaces required for business uses, to permit 367 parking spaces in the shopping center located at 110-160 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village. Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 PASSED this 9" day of April, 2002.
