HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2807 - 1/23/2001 - ZONING VARIATION/1670 LANDMEIERORDINANCE NO. 2807 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 4-3-1:B PERTAINING TO THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES IN A BUSINESS ZONED DISTRICT TO PERMIT ONE (1) PARKING SPACE FOR EACH 323.4 SQUARE FEET OF GROSS FLOOR AREA ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1670 LANDMEIER ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE(OFFICE DEPOT) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 4-3-1:B of the Zoning Ordinance to permit one (1) parking space for each 323.4 square feet of gross floor area on property located at 1670 Landmeier Road, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 4- 3-1:B of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to minimum parking spaces in a business district to permit one (1) parking space for each 323.4 square feet of gross floor area on property located at 1670 Landmeier Road, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 1 in 3rd Bondioli Subdivision being a Subdivision in the northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian according to the Plat thereof, recorded July 10, 1986 as Document #86286965, and Lot 2 in Bondioli Subdivision being a Subdivision in the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian according to the Plat thereof, recorded August 28, 1980, as Document #25564830, all in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
