AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 7A -1:F.1 and 7E -8:A
TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN 8 FOOT WOODEN PRIVACY FENCE
ALONG THE EAST PROPERTY LINE OF THE OAKTON STREET FIRE STATION
LOCATED AT 1000 OAKTON STREET, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing
duly called and held according to law, considered the question of
granting a variation of Sections 7A -1:F.1 and 7E -8:A of the
Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of an 8 foot privacy
fence at the Oakton Street Fire Station; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and
findings of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe it is
in the best interest of the Village to grant said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections
7A -1:F.1 and 7E -8:A of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the
construction of an 8 foot wooden privacy fence along the east
property line of the Oakton Street Fire Station located at 1000
Oakton Street, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and legally described
as follows:
Lot 1 in Fire Department Subdivision, being a
Subdivision in the Southwest Quarter of Section 22,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof
Recorded July 31, 1996 as Document No. 96586805 in
Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
