AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-19-4, LICENSE FEES
FOR RESIDENTIAL ALARM USERS OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2795 was duly passed and approved by
the Mayor and Board of Trustees on November 15, 2000, which
Ordinance established regulations and fees for alarm systems in
the residential zoned district of the Village; and
WHEREAS, the license fee schedule set forth in Section 3-
19-4 of said Ordinance needs to be corrected with respect to the
false alarm license fee charged to users who have between six (6)
and ten (10) false alarms in any one license year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DUPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 3-19-4 License Fee of the Village
Code be amended by substituting "6-10" for "8-10" as found in the
column entitled False Alarm Total Residential.
Section 2: That all other provisions of Section 3-19-4 and
Ordinance N0. 2795 shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0
