AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO PRIMECO
PERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS FOR CO -LOCATION OF WIRELESS
TELECOMMUNICATION ANTENNAS ON AN EXISTING 120 FOOT MONOPOLE
TOWER AT THE HEIGHT OF APPROXIMATELY 110 FEET ON THE
MONOPOLE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 676 MEACHAM ROAD, ELK GROVE
VILLAGE (MEACHAM FIRE STATION)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to
law, considered the question of granting a Special Use Permit to
PrimeCo Personal Communications to permit the construction and
installation of wireless telecommunication antennas and the
placement of telecommunications equipment within a masonry
shelter on Village property located at 676 Meacham Road, Elk
Grove Village, and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees, after having
reviewed the findings and recommendation of said Plan Commission,
find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village
that said Special Use Permit be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to
PrimeCo Personal Communications to permit the installation of
wireless telecommunication antennas at a height of approximately
110 feet on a 120 foot monopole and to place telecommunications
equipment within a masonry shelter on Village property at 676
Meacham Road, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows:
The South 300.00 feet of the North 670.00 feet
of the East 350.40 feet (as measured at right
angles to the North and East lines thereof) of
the West half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 36,
Township 41 north, Range 10 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
