HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2824 - 4/10/2001 - ZONING VARIATION/75 TURNER AVEORDINANCE NO. 2824 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 4-3-1:B AS IT PERTAINS TO THE NUMBER OF REQUIRED PARKING SPACES AND STACKING SPACES TO PERMIT A DECREASE OF TWENTY (20) PARKING SPACES AND A DECREASE OF SEVEN (7) STACKING SPACES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 75 TURNER AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (ADVANTAGE NATIONAL BANK) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 4-3-1:B of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to required parking and required stacking spaces for property located at 75 Turner Avenue, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 4- 3-1B of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to the number of required parking spaces and the number of required stacking spaces thereby decreasing the number of required parking spaces from sixty-eight (68) to forty-eight (48) and decreasing the number of stacking spaces from twelve (12) to five (5) on property located at 75 Turner Avenue, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: PARCEL 1: Lots 14 and 15 in 10`h addition to Elk Grove Village Section 12, being a Resubdivision of Lot 3559 in Elk Grove Village Section 12 in Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. PARCEL 2: That Part of Turner Avenue in Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying East of and adjoining the East line of Lot 13 in ninth addition to Elk Grove Village Section 12, being a Resubdivision in Section 32 aforesaid, and lying Northerly and adjoining the Northerly lines of Lots 14 and 15 in tenth addition to Elk Grove Village Section 12, being a Resubdivision in Section 32 aforesaid and lying Southerly of a curved line convex Southerly, having a radius of 905.0 feet and being drawn from the Northeast corner of Lot 13 aforesaid to the most Northerly corner of Lot 14 aforesaid, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 PASSED this loth day of 2001.
