AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDED SITE PLAN PURSUANT TO A
SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 120 East DEVON
AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (SHINNYO-EN)
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village pursuant to Ordinance No. 2661 and
Resolution No. 43-98 annexed property at 120 East Devon Avenue to
the Village of Elk Grove Village, granted a Special Use Permit so
that said property could be utilized as a church and a detached
residential building in an R-3 single family residential
district, and approved a site plan for said property; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have petitioned the Plan
Commission for an amendment to said site plan; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, after a Public Hearing duly called and held according to
law, considered the question of amending said site plan as
requested; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation
and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe it to be in
the best interest of the Village that said site plan be amended
as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 2661 and Resolution No. 43-98,
which Resolution and Ordinance annexed property located at 120
East Devon Avenue to the Village and approved a site plan, be in
the same is hereby amended by substituting therefore an amended
site plan, three (3) copies of which are on file in the Office of
the Village Clerk.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after
its passage and
approval according
to law.
