AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:E.3 OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT A PARKING STALL TO BE LOCATED
WITHIN THE REQUIRED 25 FOOT FRONT YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT
550 BENNETT ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (QUALITY CARBIDE TOOL)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a Public Hearing,
duly called and held according to law, considered the question of
granting a variation of Section 3-6:E.3 of the Zoning Ordinance
as it pertains to parking of vehicles in the required front yard,
in order to permit a parking stall which would be located within
the required 25 foot front yard on property located at 550
Bennett Road, Elk Grove Village, and legally described
hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the finding and
recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe
that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of
said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section l: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-
6:E.3 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the installation of a
parking stall, measuring 19 feet in length and 15 feet in width,
to be located within the required 25 foot front yard on property
located at 550 Bennett Road, Elk Grove Village and legally
described as follows:
Lot 87 in Higgins Road Commercial Subdivision Unit #54,
being a Resubdivision in Section 21 and in the West Half
of Section 22, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, recorded August 23, 1973 as
Document #22450478, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
