AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT/PARAMEDIC PERSONNEL
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a Home Rule
Municipality as authorized and set forth in the Constitution of the
State of Illinois and as such, authorized to enact certain
legislation pertaining to its local government affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DUPage, Illinois in exercise of its Home Rule authority as follows:
Section 1: That the paramedics be increased from fifty-one (51)
to fifty-two (52) Fire Department employees.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 6 NAY: 0 ABSENT: 0
PASSED this 26th day of September 2000.
