HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2782 - 10/10/2000 - SPECIAL USE/61 GARLISCH DRORDINANCE NO. 2782 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO NEXTEL COMMUNICATIONS TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MONOPOLE with a NINE (9) PANEL ANTENNAE ARRAY ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 61 GARLISCH DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a Special Use Permit to permit the construction of a fifty (50) foot monopole, extendable to a height of one hundred ten (110) feet, to support a nine (9) paneled antennae array on property located at 61 Garlisch Drive, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe that it is in the best interest of the Village to grant such Special Use Permit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to Nextel Communications to permit the construction and installation of a fifty (50) foot tall monopole, extendable to one hundred ten (110) feet, which monopole will support an antennae array consisting of nine (9) panel antennae at a height of fifty (50) feet on property located at 61 Garlisch Drive, Elk Grove Village and legally describes as follows: Lot 5 In Garlisch Subdivision Unite No. 5, being a Subdivision of part of the West '-� of the East 1� of Section 22, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian according to the Plat thereof Recorded November 21, 1979 as Document No. 25252223 in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That the Special Use Permit is subject to the continuing lease between Nextel Communications and the property owner of 61 Garlisch Drive, and should said lease be cancelled or terminated for whatever reason, then and in that event, this Special Use Permit shall likewise terminate. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 PASSED this 10th day of October , 2000.
