HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2793 - 11/14/2000 - ZONING VARIATION/433 CONCORD LNORDINANCE NO. 2793 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D.1 AND SECTION 7-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE INSTALLATION OF A FIREPLACE AND EXTERIOR FRAMED CHIMNEY WHICH WOULD ENCROACH APPROXIMATELY 1.33 FEET INTO THE REQUIRED 8 FOOT SIDE YARD AREA ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 433 CONCORD LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-6:D.1 and Section 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to the location of attached structures within the required side yard area, to permit the installation of a fireplace with an exterior framed chimney which would encroach approximately 1.33 feet into the required 8 foot side yard on property located at 433 Concord Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3- 6:D.1 and Section 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the installation of a fireplace with an exterior framed chimney which would encroach approximately 1.33 feet into the required 8 foot side yard on property located at 433 Concord Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 18 in Resubdivision No. 3, for a portion of Winston Grove Section 23B, being a Resubdivision of part of Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof Recorded July 2, 1985, as Document Number 85086193, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
