AN ORDINANCE ABATING A PORTION OF THE 2000 PROPERTY TAXES
LEVIED FOR CERTAIN GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR
SERIES 1992, SERIES 1993, SERIES 1994
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois to
abate a portion of the 2000 property tax levy in the total amount of $497,989 as follows:
Section 1: That the County Clerks of Cook and DuPage Counties, are hereby
authorized and directed to abate
- $99,598 from the taxes levied for 2000 in Ordinance 2267, an Ordinance
providing for the issuance of $10,000,000 General Obligation Bonds, Series 1992 of the
Village of Elk Grove, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, and
- $49,799 from the taxes levied for 2000 in Ordinance 2332, an Ordiannce
providing for the issuance of $10,000,000 General Obligation Bonds, Series 1993 of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, and
- $348,592 from the taxes levied for 2000 in Ordinance 2342, an
Ordinance providing for the issuance of $10,000,000 General Obligation Bonds, Series
1994, of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a
certified copy of this Ordinance with the County Clerks of Cook and DuPage, Illinois.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this
Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication according to law.
