AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16, PUBLIC SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS,
OF TITLE 3 OF THE VILLAGE CODE BY ENACTING REGULATIONS PROHIBITING
THE RENTAL OF A PUBLIC SLEEPING ESTABLISHMENT UNIT BY ANY PERSON
UNDER THE AGE OF 21
BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Chapter 16, Public Sleeping Accommodations,
of Title 3 of the Village Code be amended by adding the following
paragraph:
3-16-7 It shall be unlawful for any licensee to rent, lease or
sign a contract for the use of a public sleeping unit, hotel or
motel room to any individual under the age of (21) twenty-one.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is authorized to publish
this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
