HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2742 - 3/28/2000 - ZONING VARIATION/1813 HAWK LNORDINANCE NO. 2742 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION ON SECTIONS 3-6:D.1 AND 7-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO ATTACHED STRUCTURES WITHIN THE REQUIRED SIDE YARD TO PERMIT THE INSTALLATION OF A FIREPLACE WHICH WOULD ENCROACH APPROXIMATELY 2.5 FEET INTO THE REQUIRED 8 FOOT SIDE YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1813 HAWK LANE, ELK GROVE, (DONATELLI) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Sections 3-6:D.1 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the installation of a fireplace which would encroach 2.5 feet into the required side yard on property located at 1813 Hawk Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3-6:D.1 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to attached structures in the required side yard area, to permit the installation of a fireplace which would encroach approximately 2.5 feet into the required 8 foot side yard on property located at 1813 Hawk Lane, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and legally described as follows: Lot 290 in Stape's Subdivision, being a Subdivision of the Northeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
