HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2763 - 6/27/2000 - ZONING VARIAITON/737 & 875 FARGO AVEORDINANCE NO. 9761 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3-6:D-1 AND 7-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO SIDE YARD PROPERTY LINES TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COVERED WALKWAY CONNECTING TWO (2) EXISTING BUILDINGS ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 737 AND 875 FARGO AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (CENTERPOINT PROPERTIES) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Sections 3-6:D-1 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a covered walkway on property located at 737 and 875 Fargo Avenue, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there granted a variation of Sections 3-6:D- 1 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to required side yard setbacks to permit the construction of a covered walkway which would connect two (2) existing buildings on property located at 737 and 875 Fargo Avenue and legally described as follows: 737 Fargo Avenue Lot 310 in Centex Industrial Park Unit 186, being a Subdivision in the southwest quarter of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian according to the Plat thereof recorded March 25, 1974 as document no. 22664111 in Cook County, Illinois. 875 Fargo Avenue Lot 396 in Centex Industrial Park Unit 243, being a Subdivision in the southwest quarter of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded August 6, 1979 as document 25085632 in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 PASSED this 27th day of June 2000.
