AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D-1 AND
7-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO REQUIRED SIDE
YARDS TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ATTACHED GARAGE
ADDITION THAT WOULD ENCROACH APPROXIMATELY 1.2 FEET INTO
THE REQUIRED SIDE YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 581 OXFORD
CIRCLE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (PRILL)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a Public Hearing
duly called and held according to law, considered the question of
granting a variation of Sections 3-6:D-1 and 7-1 of the Zoning
Ordinance to permit the construction of an attached garage
addition that would encroach into the required side yard on
property located at 581 Oxford Circle, Elk Grove Village and
legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having
reviewed the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of
Appeals, as amended, find and believe that sufficient hardship
exists so as to justify the granting of said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3-
6:D-1 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction
of an attached garage addition that would encroach approximately
1.2 feet into the required 9.5 foot side yard on property located
at 581 Oxford Circle, Elk Grove Village and legally described as
follows:
Lot 52 in Winston Grove Section 23A, being a Subdivision
in parts of Sections 25 and 26, Township 41 North,
Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
Cook County, Illinois according to the Plat thereof
recorded July 31, 1978 as Document No. 24559901.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
