AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO NEXTEL
COMMUNICATIONS TO CONSTRUCT A 103 FOOT TALL MONOPOLE WITH
NINE (9) FORTY-EIGHT INCH ANTENNAS AND THE PLACEMENT OF A
220 SQUARE FOOT EQUIPMENT SHELTER ADJACENT THERETO ON
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1751 GREENLEAF AVENUE, ELK GROVE
VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, acting as a Zoning
Commission, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to
law, considered the question of granting a Special Use Permit to
Nextel Communications to permit the construction of a 103 foot
tall monopole and an adjacent 220 square foot equipment shelter
on property located at 1751 Greenleaf Avenue, Elk Grove Village
and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village, after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of
said Plan Commission, find and believe that it is in the best
interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to
Nextel West Corporation d/b/a Nextel Communications to construct
a 103 foot tall monopole with nine (9) forty-eight inch antennas
and the placement of a 220 square foot equipment shelter adjacent
thereto on property located at 1751 Greenleaf Avenue, Elk Grove
Village and legally described as follows:
The West 110.00 feet of the East 553.10 feet of
lot 19 in Centex Industrial Park Unit 4, being a
Subdivision in Section 35, Township 41 North, Range
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois according to the Plat thereof
recorded November 2, 1959 as Document No. 17701036
and LR 1894159, in Elk Grove Township Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
