HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2772 - 8/15/2000 - ZONING VARIATION/2500 LANDMEIER RDORDINANCE NO. 2772 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 7E -8:A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT A SEVEN (7) FOOT HIGH ORNAMENTAL FENCE EXTENDING INTO THE FRONT YARD AND BEYOND THE BUILDING SETBACK LINE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2500 LANDMEIER ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE ILLINOIS (GROOT INDUSTRIES, INC.) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public hearing, duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 7E -8:A of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to the height and location of fences to permit the construction of a seven (7) foot ornamental fence which would extend into the front yard and beyond the building setback line on property located at 2500 Landmeier Road and legally described herein after; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the finding and recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of such variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 7E -8:A of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a seven (7) foot high ornamental fence which will extend into the front yard and beyond the building setback line on property located at 2500 Landmeier Road and legally described as follows: Lot 1 in Webb Hotels of Illinois Resubdivision of Lots 3 and 4 in O'Hare Industrial Center for Business, a Resubdivision of Lot 1 in Higgins Elmhurst Subdivision No. 1 and Lot 1 in Higgins Elmhurst Subdivision No. 2 being Subdivisions of the southeast quarter of Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian according to the Plat thereof recorded September 16, 1986 as Document 86418230 in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
