AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO MOLONEY
COACHBUILDERS, INC. TO PERMIT THE SERVICE USE ASSOCIATED
WITH THE CONVERSION OF OPERABLE MOTOR VEHICLES INTO ARMORED
SECURITY VEHICLES IN AN I-2 INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1180 PRATT BOULEVARD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village at a Public Meeting duly called and held according to law
considered the question of granting a Special Use Permit in
accordance with Section 7E-2 of the Elk Grove Zoning Ordinance,
to permit a service use involving the conversion of operable
motor vehicles into armored security vehicles in an I-2
Industrial District at property located at 1180 Pratt Boulevard
and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation
and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe it to be in
the best interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit be
granted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit in
accordance with Section 7E-2 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit
the service use associated with the conversion of operable motor
vehicles into armored security vehicles in an I-2 Industrial
District at property located at 1180 Pratt Boulevard and legally
described as follows:
Lot 21 (Except the East 34.0 Feet Thereof) and Lot 22
(Except the West 16.0 Feet Thereof) in Centex
Industrial Park Unit 22, Being a Subdivision in
Section 34, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
