HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2700 - 6/22/1999 - ZONING VARIATION/525 RIDGEWOOD RDORDINANCE NO. 2700 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D-2 OF THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE ZONING ORDINANCE AS IT PERTAINS TO SIDE YARD SETBACK REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCESSORY STRUCTURES TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A REPLACEMENT SHED TO BE LOCATED A MINIMUM OF 2 FEET FROM THE SIDE LOT LINE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 525 RIDGEWOOD ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (Zaremba) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-6:D-2 of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to accessory structures located in the 6 foot side yard to permit the construction and relocation of a shed that would encroach 4.0 feet into the required side yard for property located at 525 Ridgewood Road, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a 4 foot variation of Section 3-6:D-2 of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to the location of accessory structures in the 6 foot side yard to permit the relocation of a shed on property located at 525 Ridgewood Road, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 499 in Elk Grove Village Section 1 South Being a Subdivision in the North Half of Section 28, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, According to Plat Thereof Registered in the Office of the Registrar of Titles Of Cook County, Illinois on April 24, 1957, as Document Number 1734744 Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
