AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, SECTION 6-4-3-1: ONE AND TWO-WAY STOP
INTERSECTIONS, BY ADDING WATERFORD LANE AT HUNTINGTON DRIVE
(BOTH INTERSECTIONS) AND HAWTHORN LANE AT CHARLELA LANE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-4-3-1: One and Two -Way Stop
Intersections of the Village Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village
be amended by adding thereto the following:

Waterford Lane Huntington Drive
(both intersections)
Hawthorn Lane Charlela Lane
Section 2: Any person firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less
than Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred
($500.00) Dollars for each offense.
Section 3: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.

Any person violating any provision of this
Section shall be fined not less than twenty
five dollars ($25.00) nor more than five
hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense.

6-4-3: STOP INTERSECTIONS: Every
driver of any vehicle shall stop
such vehicle at the stop sign indicated
before proceeding into a stop intersection
and shall yield the right of way to any other
vehicle or pedestrian using such intersec-
tion unless directed to proceed by a traffic
officer. The driver of any vehicle shall come
to a complete stop whether or not real haz-
ards are present. (Ord. 744, 5-11-1971;

6-4-3-1: ONE- AND TWO-WAY STOP
INTERSECTIONS: The following
intersections are designated one-way and
two-way stop intersections; and all traffic
proceeding on streets listed in Column A,
Stop Streets, shall stop before entering in
or across the intersections listed in Column
