AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D.3
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT A SPLIT -RAIL FENCE
IN THE FRONT YARD AREA OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8 LONSDALE
ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (DEBARTOLO)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, at a Public
Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the
question of granting a variation of Section 3-6:D.3 of the Zoning
Ordinance as it pertains to fences in the front yard in an R-3
zoned district, to permit a split -rail fence along the side
property line extending twenty-five (25') beyond the front
building set -back line on property located at 8 Lonsdale Road and
legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, after considered the recommendation and
finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that
sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said
variation;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section
3-6:D.3 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a split -rail fence in
the required front yard on property located at 8 Lonsdale Road,
Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows:
Lot 3438 in Elk Grove Village Section 11,
being a Subdivision in Sections 32 and 33,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0
