AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO NORTHWEST
CENTRAL 9-1-1 SYSTEM TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A RADIO
EQUIPMENT SHELTER ON THE VILLAGE'S WATER TANK SITE AT
GREENLEAF AVENUE AND BUSSE ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Northwest Central 9-1-1 System has requested that the
Village grant a Special Use Permit to permit the construction of a shelter
at the Centex water tank site at Greenleaf Avenue and Busse Road to house
equipment for a new radio system, including a generator for emergency power;
and
WHEREAS, the facility will be located entirely on Village property
and will house equipment necessary to receive and broadcast emergency
signals at a new frequency;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to Northwest
Central 9-1-1 System to permit the construction of a twenty-three (23)
foot by 12.5 foot shelter on the Village's water tank site located at
Greenleaf Avenue and Busse Road, Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
