AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, SECTION 6-4-2, THROUGH STREETS, BY DELETING
CLEARMONT DRIVE -ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD TO ESSEX ROAD; AND
AMENDING SECTION 6-5-3-2 C., THREE AND FOUR-WAY STOP
INTERSECTIONS, BY ADDING CLEARMONT AND CARLISLE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-4-2, Through Streets, of the Village
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be amended by deleting
thereto the following:
Through Streets Limits
Clearmont Drive Arlington Heights Road
to Essex Road
Section 2: That Section 6-4-3-2 C., Three and Four-way Stop
Intersections, of the Village Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following:
Clearmont Drive and Carlisle Avenue
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less
than Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred
($500.00) Dollars for each offense.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to
law.
