motion was approved unanimously.

Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 14, 2020, this Executive Session was
called to consider review of Personnel.

The Village had one police officer in the police academy, and he has now failed out. The Village
was originally slated for four officers in this academy, and has ended up with none. The problem
of maintaining candidates appears to also be an ongoing problem for other local municipalities.
The list for police officers may need to be created more frequently in the future to ensure viable
candidates are available when needed.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:09 pm.
