Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 14, 2020, this Executive Session was
called to consider review of Litigation.

Village Attorney Knickerbocker reached out to the attorney representing the illegal water user on
Martha Street, because no response had been received in regard to the Village's offer to accept a
payment plan for the money owed. The attorney came back with a request for payment of less
money with no admission of guilt. Village Attorney Knickerbocker made it clear the Village's
offer had been non-negotiable and has also informed the user that his plumbing company is not
permitted to bid on any Village projects unless he makes the required payments. The Police
Department is still in the process of a criminal investigation on this matter.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:16 pm.
