Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 14, 2020, this Executive Session was
called to consider review of Land Acquisition/Disposition.

The Village is currently pursuing condemnation proceedings with the owner of the out lot at
Higgins and Busse, neighboring the former Elk Grove Hotel site. Mayor Johnson shared
conceptual drawings for the entry feature proposed at this site to beautify the Business Park.
