Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 28, 2020, this Executive Session was
called to consider review of Litigation.

The Village Attorney provided an update on litigation related to the Village's involuntary
annexation of properties along Higgins. The next court date will be a status hearing on the
motion to dismiss in February. The Village Attorney will not be present at this hearing, but has
representation from Storino, Romello and Durkin presenting based on their research in this
matter and is confident they can handle a procedural hearing.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:56 pm.
