Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 10, 2020, this Executive Session was
called to consider Litigation.

The Village Attorney provided an update on the next court hearing scheduled for the challenge from
Gullo to the Village's involuntary annexation of properties along Higgins. The court hearing has been
pushed back a month or two, and the next hearing will be in April or May. This hearing will be on the
Village's motion to dismiss the second amended complaint based on standing, which is a technical matter
indicating they have listed the incorrect plaintiff in the lawsuit. If the Village's motion to dismiss is not
upheld, then the matter would go to pre-trial discovery.
