Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 14, 2020, this Executive Session was called
to consider review of Litigation.

The Village Attorney provided an update on the condemnation of the former Elk Grove Hotel
out -lot. There is an item for approval on the Village Board agenda to allow the Village to pursue
further legal options. The Village Attorney indicated that following approval of this item, the
condemnation attorney will send a final offer to the property owner. If the property owner
declines or does not respond, then our condemnation attorney will file a lawsuit.
