Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on May 12, 2020, this Executive Session was called
to consider review of Litigation.

The Village Attorney provided an update on the water theft on Martha Lane. The Village is
reaching an agreement with the perpetrator of water theft on Martha Lane. He has agreed to a
payment plan, and will pay half of what he owes now, and the remaining half in one year.
However, if he is to receive a bid from the Village on an infrastructure project, he must pay in
full before the bid can be awarded. Additionally, he has agreed to the installation of a water
meter and to the payment of the water rate for unincorporated users moving forward.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:56 pm.
