HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2616 - 1/13/1998 - ZONING VARIATION-1600 PRATT BLVDORDINANCE NO. 2616 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:E.3.b OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO FRONT YARDS IN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS TO PERMIT A PARKING AREA IN A PORTION OF THE REQUIRED 25 FOOT FRONT YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1600 PRATT BOULEVARD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (M & M INDUSTRIES, WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a Public Meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-6:E.3.b of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a parking area which would encroach into the required 25 foot front yard on property located at 1600 Pratt Boulevard and legally described hereinafter; WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the village after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove village, Counties of Cook and DUPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-6:E.3.b of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a parking area approximately 111 feet long that would encroach approximately 5 feet at its north end and 7 feet 1 inch at its south end on property located at 1600 Pratt Boulevard and legally described as follows:
