WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2542, the Village
President and Board of Trustees approved initial signage
for the Dominick's store located in the Elk Grove Town
Center; and
WHEREAS, Dominick's has submitted drawings for four
(4) additional signs which were excluded from Ordinance No.
2542; and
WHEREAS, the four (4) additional signs do not exceed
the allowable area permitted by the Village's sign
regulations; and
WHEREAS, Director of Engineering and Community
Development has raised no objection to the approval of these
signs, in light of the fact that they were inadvertently
excluded from the initial plans and would, in all likelihood,
have been approved if included in the exhibit attached to
Ordinance No. 2542;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1. That the four (4) signs set forth on the
proposed signage plan for Dominick's in the Elk Grove
Town Center, which plans were prepared by the Doyle General
Sign contractors and dated August 26, 1997 with a revision
date of. September 12, 1997 be and the same are hereby
approved.
Section 2, That a copy of said proposed signage plan,
herein approved, shall be on file in the office of the
Village Clerk and shall supplement the previously approved
signage for Dominick's as set forth in Ordinance 2542.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
