AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO SPRINTCOM
COMMUNICATIONS FOR CO -LOCATION OF WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION
ANTENNAS ON A 100 FOOT MONOPOLE AND THE PLACEMENT OF
TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT IN A 25 X 23 FOOT EQUIPMENT
SHELTER ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 100 LIONS DRIVE,
ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to
law, considered the question of granting a Special Use Permit to
SprintCom Communications to permit the construction and
installation of wireless telecommunication antennas and the
placement of telecommunications equipment on property located at
100 Lions Drive, Elk Grove Village, and legally described
hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, after having
reviewed the findings and recommendation of said Plan Commission,
find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village
that said Special Use Permit be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DUPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to
SprintCom Communications to permit the installation of wireless
telecommunication antennas at a height of 90 feet on a 100 foot
monopole and to place telecommunications equipment on property
located at 100 Lions Drive, Elk Grove Village and legally
described as follows:
Part of Lot Two in Elk Grove Village Section 3,
being a Subdivision in Sections 28, 29, and 33
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof
Recorded on March 11, 1959 as Document No.
17478278 in the Recorder's Office of Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 2: That this Special Use Permit shall be subject to
the following conditions:
1. That Sprint's telecommunications equipment be placed in
a building consistent with the existing Park District
building to be constructed by Cellular One at the same
location; and
2. The underground installation of all cables on
the site.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
