AN ORDINANCE AMENDING POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN,
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (FIREFIGHTER)
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a Home Rule
Municipality as authorized and set forth in the Constitution of the
State of Illinois and as such, authorized to enact certain
legislation pertaining to its local government affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, in exercise of its Home Rule authority as follows:
Section 1: That the Position Classification and Salary Plan, be
and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
AUTHORIZED POSITIONS
PERMANENT TEMPORARY TOTAL

Firefighter 69 2* 71
The added temporary positions terminate on July 16, 1998, returning
the authorized strength to 69 Firefighters.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
