HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2638 - 4/28/1998 - SPECIAL USE/1538 ELMHURSTORDINANCE NO. 2638 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO PERMIT THE OPERATION OF A BANKING FACILITY IN AN I-2 INDUSTRIAL ZONED DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1538 ELMHURST ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (CITIZENS BANKING CORPORATION) WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a Special Use Permit in accordance with Section 7E -2:A of the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance to permit the continued operation of an existing banking facility in an I-2 Industrial Zoned District on property located at 1538 Elmhurst Road, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the finding and recommendation of said Plan Commission, find and believe that it is in the best interest of the Village that such Special Use Permit be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to Citizens Banking Corporation to permit a banking facility in an I-2 Industrial Zoned District on property located at 1538 Elmhurst Road, Elk Grove Village, and legally described as follows: Lot 1 in Triangle Corporate Center Sub -Division being a Resubdivision in the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range it East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County Illinois. Except for the Following Described Property: Commencing at the Brass Monument at the Southeast corner of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois; Thence on an assumed bearing of North 00 Degrees 00 Minutes 00 Seconds East along the East Line of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 35, 1372.14 feet; Thence North 90 Degrees 00 Minutes 00 Seconds West, 50.00 feet to a point on the West right-of-way Line of Elmhurst Road, Also being the East Line of Said Lot 1, Said Point Also being the Place of Beginning; Thence South 45 Degrees 40 minutes 22 Seconds West 62.91 Feet to a Point on the South Line of Said Lot 1, Said Point also being on the North right-of-way Line of Greenleaf Avenue; Thence north 89 Degrees 51 Minutes 16 Seconds East along the North right-of-way Line of Greenleaf Avenue 25.11 Feet; Thence Easterly along a Tangential curve concave Northerly Radius 36.00 feet, Central Angle 33 Degrees 34 minutes 02 Seconds, 21.09 Feet to a point on the West right-of-way Line of Elmhurst Road; Thence North 00 Degrees 00 Minutes 00 Seconds East along the West right-of-way of Elmhurst Road 37.84 Feet to the Place of Beginning. P.I.N. 08-35-203- 016-0000 and 08-35-203-019-0000 Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
