AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MULTIPLE VARIATIONS OF SECTION 7E-9:(A) OF
THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT VARIOUS PERIMETER FENCING IN
EXCESS OF SIX FEET IN HEIGHT AND WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE BUILDING
SETBACK LINES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1925 BUSSE ROAD (STREAM
DATA CENTER)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held
according to law, considered the question of granting multiple variations of Section 7E-9:(A) to
Stream Data Center to allow for eight foot high ornamental security fencing and a fifteen foot high
screening fence with two of said fences extending ahead of the applicable setback lines for
property located at 1925 Busse Road; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after
having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe it to be
in the best interest of the Village, that the requested variations be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted variations of Section 7E-9:(A) of the Zoning Ordinance
to Stream Data Center to permit the following fences:
A fifteen (15') foot high concrete screen wall which will extend approximately twelve (12')
feet west beyond the front of the principal structure along Busse Road, an eight (8') foot
high ornamental black security fence with decorative columns which will extend
approximately sixty-nine (69') feet south beyond the front of the principal structure along
Pratt Boulevard and an eight (8) foot high ornamental black security fence along the north
and east of the property.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
