AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO PERMIT
THE OPERATION OF A BANKING FACILITY IN AN I-1 INDUSTRIAL
ZONED DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1550 HIGGINS ROAD,
ELK GROVE VILLAGE (M&I BANK F.S.B.)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to
law, considered the question of granting a Special Use Permit in
accordance with Section 7E -2:A of the Elk Grove Village Zoning
Ordinance, to permit the operation of a banking facility in an I-
1 Industrial Zoned District on property located at 1550 Higgins
Road, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the finding and
recommendation of said Plan Commission, find and believe that it
is in the best interest of the Village that such Special Use
Permit be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to M
& I Bank, F.S.B. to permit the operation of a banking facility in
an I-1 Industrial Zoned District on property located at 1550
Higgins Road, Elk Grove Village, and legally described as
follows:
Lot 1 of the SDK Subdivision, being a subdivision
of the South East Quarter (1/4) of the South East
Quarter (1/4) of Section 22, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in
in Cook County Illinois.
That the Special Use Permit is subject to the condition that a
handicapped parking space be installed at a location acceptable
to Village staff.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
