HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2668 - 11/17/1998 - ZONING VARIATION/1055 SUSAN CTORDINANCE NO. 2668 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 7-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SCREEN ROOM ON AN EXISTING DECK WHICH WOULD ENCROACH 9.5 FEET INTO THE REQUIRED 20 FOOT REAR YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1055 SUSAN COURT, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (BELLIS) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to structures in the required rear yards in an R-3 zoning district by permitting the construction of a screen room which would encroach 9.5 feet into the required 20 foot rear yard; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said variation be granted. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a screen room on an existing deck which would encroach 9.5 feet into the required 20 foot rear yard on property located at 1055 Susan Court, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 24 in Block 3 in Shenandoah Subdivision, being a Subdivision in the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10 East of the Third principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from land after its passage and approval according to law.
