AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENTS OF
TITLE 3 OF THE VILLAGE CODE BY SUBSTITUTING THE FINANCE
DEPARTMENT FOR THE OFFICE OF THE VILLAGE CLERK WITH RESPECT TO
APPLICATIONS AND THE ISSUANCE OF MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENT LICENSES
AND LICENSES FOR CERTIFIED MASSAGE THEREAPISTS AND MASSAGE
THERAPISTS IN TRAINING
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That those portions of Section 3-21-3, 3-21-5,
3-21-8, 3-21-10, 3-21-11, 3-21-17, and 3-21-18 which refer to
the Village Clerk shall be amended by substituting the Finance
Department for the office of the Village Clerk in all of said
sections.
Section 2: That Section 3-21-18-B. Term be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
B. Term - All Licenses shall commence on June 1st and
expire on May 31st of each year.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
