AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 6, CHAPTER 7, SECTION 6-7-1,
CURFEW FOR MINORS, OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-7-1 B., Age and Hour Restrictions, of
Title 6, Curfew for Minors of the Village Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
6-7-1--B. Age and Hour Restrictions: It shall be unlawful
for any child, as defined herein, to be upon any public way
or public place in the Village between the hours of twelve
o'clock (12:00) A.M. Friday and six o'clock (6:00) A.M.
Saturday, or between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) A.M.
Saturday and six o'clock (6:00) A.M. Sunday, or between the
hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. and six o'clock (6:00)
A.M. on any other day of the week unless accompanied by and
in the charge of a parent, guardian or other proper companion
of the age of at least twenty one (21) years of age or unless
engaged in some occupation or business in which such child
may be lawfully engaged under the statutes of the State of
Illinois.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this
Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
